The dated launch troubleshooting page covers the earlier v1.0.1 launch fixes.

v1.0.8 — Task delivery, fog rendering, and Actions GPU cost

  • All text fields now block Map movement input rather than allowing typed keys to move the Map behind the field.
  • A possible crash source in energy floaters and indicators was removed.
  • Task Items now deliver correctly when the Augment or Offline screen is open at the submission moment.
  • Trader animated portraits reset correctly after viewing Augments.
  • Fog rendering changed in an attempt to fix drift. The developer could not reproduce the issue, so this remains a possible fix rather than a confirmed universal resolution.
  • Actions panel buttons use cheaper rendering. This may help high resolutions and systems without a dedicated GPU, but the notes do not promise that every slowdown is solved.

Use Launch Troubleshooting for the exact fixed, possible, and still-open boundaries.

v1.0.7 — crashes, floating-point energy, and crafting notifications

  • Opening the Augment window while the Map is rendering no longer uses the identified crash path.
  • Several invalid-object crash sources were fixed, while the developer explicitly warned that other crash causes may remain.
  • The floating-point error that could stop energy at 9.9999999999998 was fixed.
  • Consuming upgrade materials from Materials Cases now notifies the Replicator and newly emptied space.
  • Salvager and Harvester backend work became about 10% faster, but late-game stutter around 200k+ power remains a known limitation.

v1.0.6 — saves, items, and late-map cleanup

  • Percentage-based Trader buying and selling could corrupt a save in a way that appeared only on the next load. The fix adds a valid-backup fallback so an unusable current state can recover to a recent working state.
  • Smart Grabber now sends WIRE from POIs into Wire Boxes correctly.
  • The Databank maximum was corrected so it no longer implies five additional undiscovered items.
  • Auto Explore turns itself off when the machine is trapped in a wake-up loop.
  • Travel achievement requirements were reduced.
  • The ordinary Biocell is no longer incorrectly listed as craftable.
  • New Blueprint indicators at POIs make unseen discoveries easier to identify.

If the affected save is the problem, follow Trader Save Corruption and Backup Recovery. If the inventory counter is the problem, use the Databank missing-item checks. If map automation stops, use the Auto Explore guide.

v1.0.5 — Auto Explore and Auto Repair

  • Auto Explore now handles world-map edges without the previous jittering behavior.
  • A disabled Biocore now actually stops working rather than only stopping its animation.
  • Harvesters and Salvagers pause at POIs whose resources are still locked.
  • Auto Repair waits until a Reactor completes before checking energy or Biomass and deciding whether to leave.

These changes define the current success checks in the Map automation guide.

v1.0.4 — repair protection and storage behavior

  • Spatial Carcass Container and Spatial Scrap Box base capacity and upgrade increments increased.
  • Replicator batch options prioritize filling Storage Containers.
  • Discard Excess Biomass allows POI harvesting without requiring spare Biomass storage.
  • Terminal repair gained soft-lock protection, and System Reset is blocked during the final ten seconds before completion.
  • Map input, Auto Explore/Auto Repair interaction, Smart Grabber input and storage preference, Wire Box updates, Trader tasks, item-space detection, and several transition problems were corrected.

Use Terminal Repair and Reset Progress for the safe order around a reset.

v1.0.3 — Terminal persistence and balance

  • A Terminal repair that has actually started keeps its progress through System Reset. Submitted items do not persist before that point.
  • Terminal repair times became dynamic instead of a constant six hours. A legacy repair already running can keep its old time until the next Terminal.
  • Offline Progress costs were reduced, Harvester and Salvager power increased, and Concentrator amplification decreased.
  • Map fog, POI state colors, Trader tasks, world generation, item cooldowns, and several Augment-screen crashes received fixes.

Because these are balance-sensitive changes, compare the current Augment tree and item tooltips with any older build advice before spending points.

v1.0.2 — first automation and world-generation fixes

  • METAL AND BIOMASS EXHAUSTED now waits for both categories rather than continuing after only one becomes empty.
  • A world-generation infinite loop that could prevent progress or saving was corrected without requiring affected players to reset their save.
  • Fusers, Salvagers, Harvesters, Furnaces, and Decomposers now consume the expected energy when disconnected during active processing.

For an older symptom that still reproduces on v1.0.8, record the current version, the exact visible state, and the smallest repeatable sequence. A patch listed here is evidence of the intended fix, not proof that every superficially similar symptom has the same cause.
